Indiana Tour Group Calls Worthington the Perfect Fit

Bus tour participants visit The Candle Lab

If you happened to be in Downtown Worthington on June 20, you would have noticed a bus tour of 52 people converging on the shops and restaurants. The bank travel group from Indiana took a hands-on approach to visiting the area with half-hour stops at The Candle Lab where they made their own candles and Igloo Letterpress where they created their own personalized stationery. Then it was off to House Wine for a wine tasting, followed by lunch at The Worthington Inn. After lunch, they had plenty of time to browse the shops.

“Thanks so much for all of your hard work,” said Kathy Mayer of Cincinnati-based Joy Tour & Travel in an email to Mindy Mace of the Convention & Visitors Bureau of Worthington. “The Best Friends group enjoyed their stay and visit to Worthington. With your assistance, the trip was a great success. We look forward to working with you again!”

The mystery tour travelers spent the previous day visiting various Columbus sights, including a mystery dinner at Ohio Village and a tour of the Anthony Thomas factory. After a full day of sight-seeing in Columbus, they headed to Worthington where they stayed at the Holiday Inn and prepared for the next day’s activities. All in all, the entire trip proved to be a perfect fit for the visitors—and Worthington was the ideal getaway.
