Worthington Farmers Market History
Our market is Central Ohio's largest farmers market, boasting nearly 100 vendors from Columbus and the surrounding areas. The market includes locally grown seasonal fruits and vegetables, locally produced cheeses, jams, jellies, honey and maple syrup, high quality cuts of meat from carefully raised farm animals, eggs from pastured chickens, flowers, herbs, plants, homemade soaps, and foodstuffs.
The market is a year-round tradition that is held in the heart of Worthington. It was started in 1987 by the Old Worthington Businesses to drive traffic into the historic district. They created The Worthington Partnership (then known as the Olde Worthington Small Business Association) as the non-profit that still runs the market to this day.
The summer market runs every Saturday from May thru October from 8 a.m. to noon in Old Worthington and is followed by our indoor winter market, which runs Saturdays from November thru April from 9am-12pm at The Shops at Worthington Place.
