Learn About Wine and Spirits at Upcoming House Wine Classes

Looking for a fun and intimate environment where you can learn how to make your own cocktails? Cocktails at House Wine is a series of six classes led by local mixologist Cris Dehlavi. The class begins on February 9 and runs for six continuous Saturdays, ending on March 16, and it takes place at House Wine in Worthington. Whether you're interested in bartending or you'd simply like to learn more about classic cocktails, this course is for you. Not only will you get to enjoy a lineup of cocktails, but you will learn the story and techniques behind each one of them. Cris Dehlavi is the head bartender at M at Miranova, where she has been shaking and stirring cocktails since 2002. A BarSmarts Advanced Certified Mixologist, Cris is the brand mixologist for Middle West Spirits, regional ambassador for St. Germain and Ohio Secretary for the U.S. Bartender's Guild. In addition to being invited as an apprentice to Tales of the Cocktail for the last three years, she was named Best Bartender by 614 Magazine and was the winner of the Iron Bartender Columbus.
