The Central Ohio Model Railroad Club hosts its annual open house over Thanksgiving weekend and every Saturday and Sunday in December (except Christmas). Admission is free to see the train layouts, operate a Thomas the Tank Engine, enter the raffle to win some prizes!

Letters to Santa at Ohio Railway Museum

The Ohio Railway Museum invites you to tour the train cars, write a letter to St. Nick in the old post office car, do some arts and crafts, get your photo with Mrs. Claus, and of course - ride the train!

Caboose Tours at McCord Park

Saturday, December 10, 9-11 a.m.
There are two opportunities to tour the new caboose at McCord Park near the Community Center, one on Black Friday and one on Saturday, December 10. The Train Observation Area features a Class I-1A caboose built by the B&O Railroad in 1922. After being decommissioned in 1967, the Rutherford Family purchased the caboose and moved it to Upper Arlington. In 2019, the caboose was donated by Joe and Tracy Harper Hays (Forth Generation of the Rutherford Family) in remembrance of their family. The caboose will be open to the public for scheduled tours as weather permits.
Denig Jewelers’ Christmas Train
All season long!
The train display in the windows at Denig Jewelers is back! The annual setup is organized by the Central Ohio Model Railroad Club. For 2022 it’s been updated to the 1940s, with new buildings, vehicles, lights, and animals!
Denig Jewelers is located at 677 High Street in Old Worthington.
