Producer & Market Partner News
Mayapple Farms, Booth #42, North Corridor - East
Looks like we’ll have some beautiful wild RAMPS ready in the next week or two, all carefully harvested by hand, certified organic, and managed for sustainability. Keep an eye out for updates on availability.
Franklinton Farms, Booth #18, West Corridor
Our team had fun foraging today for one of spring’s tastiest treasures: ramps! Native to eastern North America, they grow in shady, wooded areas and are one of the first greens to appear after winter. These wild spring onions have a bold, garlicky-onion flavor and only show up for a short window each year. We’ll have them at market this weekend—get them while they’re here!
Red Moon Ranch, Booth #32, North Corridor - East
We shear our Icelandic sheep twice a year because of their long wool. The Icelandic breed is known for their fantastic wool quality. After sheared, the wool is sent to a fiber mill where it is cleaned, sorted, and spun into yarn or the shorter fibers are used for dryer balls.
Sitara’s Sweets by Kat, Booth #6, Central Fountain
Happy Easter! New cookie and cake flavors now available!
Black Cap Hot Sauce, Booth #80, Market Emporium
Black Cap Hot is back for an extra date in April! Find them tomorrow in the Market Emporium!
SNAP/EBT & Produce Perks

A grain bowl is an easy, satisfying way to use what you have in your fridge, no recipe needed!
Here’s a recommendation:
1 cup of grains (quinoa, rice, farro, etc)
1 cup of vegetables (leafy greens, roasted veggies, etc)
1-3oz of protein (meat, eggs, cheese, beans, etc)
A drizzle of sauce (2 tablespoons or dressing, vinaigrette, or olive oil)
A dash of garnish (2tablespoons to 1/4cup of nuts, raisins, croutons, or other added crunch)
What would you put in a grain bowl?

This Earth Day take a class on Nourishing Nature with Native Plants taught by Master Gardener and Worthington Green Team Member, Joanne Dole. Traditionally, we've chosen plants and landscape designs for our yards based mainly on their appearance. In this class, we'll go beyond just aesthetics and explore how our plant selections can help tackle some of the pressing environmental challenges we face. We'll dive into the vital roles native plants can play and how we can expand our landscaping goals to benefit the planet.
