The Dog (and Cat!) Days of Summer at The Worthington Inn

Before you know it, the dreaded dog days of summer will be upon us. While you might be inclined to crank up the air conditioning and stay inside, The Worthington Inn wants to lure you out for a great meal and a great cause. The Worthington Inn is excited to team up with Ohio Animal Companion for The Dog (and Cat!) Days of Summer. It's easy to get involved. Simply dine at the Inn between August 10 and August 16, and 5 percent of your bill will be donated to the nonprofit. “We are thrilled to partner with this fantastic organization,” said AnnaBell Kinsel, private event sales coordinator with The Worthington Inn and owner of a sweet, little orange kitty cat. “We are inspired by the mission of Ohio Animal Companion and hope the community will join us in supporting them.”

Founded in 2010, Ohio Animal Companion’s mission is three-fold. They tirelessly work to reduce the number of homeless pets in the state of Ohio, provide assistance and education to pet owners, and help promote the efforts of other animal-focused organizations throughout the state. From educational classes, such as Pet First Aid and CPR, to pet food drives, health and wellness information and medical assistance, Ohio Animal Companion is an amazing resource for any pet owner.

In addition to their in-house services, Ohio Animal Companion is proud to support the efforts of numerous other Ohio animal organizations.
