A Taste of Worthington: Good Food and Good Times

Think about all the great Worthington-area restaurants you've always wanted to try, but for one reason or another you just never got around to it. Now you have the perfect opportunity to experience them all in one setting. A Taste of Worthington, sponsored by the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce, is an annual food sampling festival that features great food from a lineup of restaurants in the area. Just $2 gets you into the festival where you can enjoy affordably priced appetizers ($1 to $7), entrees and desserts in a block-party atmosphere. Last year nearly 5,000 Worthington residents and visitors attended A Taste of Worthington, sampling more than 50 dishes from 24 restaurants. Organizers believe this year's festival will be every bit as successful. In addition to sampling the food, attendees can vote for their favorite dishes in the People's Choice Awards. Plaques are awarded to the winning food establishments.

Live music adds to the evening's festivities, along with various children's activities, corn hole competitions, a bounce house and caricature artist.
