Rodos Greek Taverna Brings a Taste of the Mediterranean to Linworth
Rodos European Grill moved to Linworth last year and renamed itself Rodos Greek Taverna, bringing a delicious taste of Greece and the Mediterranean to the Worthington area!
The eatery made its home in the former Velca Grill storefront, in the same plaza as local favorites like the Hungarian Butcher, Main Moon, Cameron’s, and other businesses. Their menu covers a lot of familiar tastes with modern twists, all complemented by a full bar.
First-timers should work their way through the list of starters. The cold patter features a trio of classic dips: hummus, tzatziki, and roasted red peppers with feta. You’ll also find flaming saganaki, Albanian kebobs, mussels, spanakopita (a flaky savory pastry with feta and spinach), calamari, fried smelts, and even buffalo wings.
The entrees range from whole bronzini to Greek lamb chops, kebabs to salmon to New York strip steaks. Their moussaka features layers of cheese, meat, and pasta in one delicious bite. On top of salads and soups, Rodos also offers a variety of pasta dishes like chicken alfredo fettucine, black truffle gnocchi, and seafood primavera.
Fans of classic Greek gyros will find a very commendable version on Rodos’ menu. For the less adventurous they offer a cheeseburger and chicken or steak paninis. But don’t miss their specialized paninis, like the roasted eggplant version or the Rodos panini, which is like a gyro in sandwich form.
Guests with a sweet tooth should stick around for Rodos’ desserts, from a luscious tiramisu to their homemade baklava.
