Produce season is moving by so quickly- it's here today, gone tomato! Heirloom tomatoes are varieties grown from seeds that have been passed down for generations, often going back over 100 years. Supermarket tomatoes have been developed to withstand traveling long distances and looking uniform. Heirloom tomatoes are grown year after year for one reason: amazing flavor! They come in a variety of shapes and colors and while they may look "imperfect" - don't let that fool you! It's the fantastic taste that counts. Many of our produce vendors have heirloom tomatoes, make sure to ask the grower to recommend their favorites!

MARKET SHUTTLE — TRIAL RUN ENDS SOON!

Take the easy route to the #1 Market in the USA! Every Saturday in July and August, we’ll be running a Market Shuttle from the 6700 High Street parking lot to the Griswold Center at 777 High Street in Old Worthington. The shuttle is wheelchair accessible, and first pick-up is at 7:45AM.

There is ample parking at 6700, and the Market Shuttle will be making the round trip every 15 minutes - just line up at the sign. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to get your fresh market goodies!

The trial run for this service ends on August 31! Give it a try and let us know what you think! We’d love to continue this much-needed service — but we can’t do it without you!
