Guest FAQs

Can I bring my pet to the market?

Yes, dogs are permitted during our outdoor market season, provided that they are leashed and under your control, well behaved, picked-up after and kept out of the flow of traffic when not actively moving through the Market.

Please abide by the following rules to make your and your pet’s visit to the market a good experience for everyone:

  • Allow space for social distancing and for through traffic to pass you and your furry friend.

  • Please be aware of those around you, allowing plenty of space to accommodate those with visual, auditory or mobility impairments who may be navigating the Market with a walker, wheelchair or other assistance.

  • Pets must be kept on a short leash.

  • * Pets must be under control and by the owner’s side at all times.

  • Keep pets away from produce, plants, and other food products.

  • Dogs must be friendly with other dogs and children.

  • Be considerate—not everyone loves your pet and some customers are allergic to or fearful of dogs.

  • Please clean up after your pet. Bags are not provided, so plan ahead and please bring waste pick-up bags with you.

If your pup is easily frightened, barks excessively, jumps on people or is stressed by noise, traffic, strangers, children or other animals, we recommend that you bring your friend to walk our beautiful downtown at another, quieter time of the day.

Can I play music at the Worthington Farmers Market?

Yes! Local buskers are welcome to perform during the outdoor market (May - October) in any of the designated locations

The Worthington Farmers Market staff does not regulate, schedule or promote buskers. Locations and play times are not assigned nor “owned.” Please be mindful that many artists are interested in performing at the market. We ask for your courtesy and consideration of other performers to help make sure everyone has an opportunity to play at the market on several occasions throughout the season.

We ask that all performances in downtown sidewalk locations be acoustic only. Performers using amplification or groups of more than 3 people/instruments are asked to perform on the Village Greens. Local residents and merchants appreciate a music start time of no earlier than 9:00am.

In any location, please take care not to impede customer foot traffic or vendor operations, including volume at an agreeable level to facilitate conversation.

Be sure to tag us in your social media posts so folks will know where and when you’ll be performing and you are welcome to also post a comment on our Facebook and/or Instagram pages with your location and schedule.

The Worthington Farmers Market and its parent organization, The Worthington Partnership, are not responsible for the buskers or the music they choose to play, nor do we hold any liability for any actions or content during the busker's performance.

We look forward to seeing – and hearing! – you soon.

We don’t open or close—we just move inside or out! The Worthington Farmers Market is central Ohio’s only year round market, operating for 50 weeks of the year, closing only the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and during one week in the fall to make way for the annual Worthington Chamber of Commerce Market Day event.

Our summer market is open 8am-12pm on Saturdays from April-October in the heart of the Worthington Historic District.
