Santa’s Mailbox

Does your kiddo want to write a letter to Santa? Well, he’s stopping through Worthington once again to pick up his mail! The special mailbox is located at the north entrance of the Griswold Center. Make sure you include a return address so Santa can write back!
Letters to Santa
Ohio Railway Museum
December 8, 14, 25, 21, and 22
Noon to 4 p.m.
The ORM’s popular Letters to Santa event returns for only five engagements this season. Explore their vintage railroad equipment, take a ride on the #64 streetcar, make Christmas ornaments and crafts. Write a letter to Santa and mail it from the post office car, and then get your photo with Mrs. Claus! Tickets are $10, kids 3 and under are free. No advanced tickets are needed – just buy them the day of!
Holiday Family Frolic
Worthington Community Center
December 13
6:30-8:30 p.m.
The Community Center hosts a night of family fun, complete with carnival games and arts and crafts. Kids can line up to meet Santa, so bring your camera! There will also be live music, ice carving demos, an interactive train display from the Central Ohio Model Railroad Club, and much more.
Mad, Mad Men Swingin' Holiday Show
McConnell Arts Center
December 19-22
The MAC’s annual jazzy holiday show returns the weekend before Christmas. This is the seventh year for the show – which will sell out, so get your tickets soon! It features Mark Frye ,Tony Alfano, and their band performing holiday hits from the 1960s. Bonus: arrive early for a free happy hour in the gallery, with drinks and music from Liz Woolley.

Also at the MAC this month, the Worthington Community Theater presents Bah Humbug!, a fun and family-friendly musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. You’ll find yourself singing along to Ebenezer Scrooge’s story!
