VOLUNTEER AT THE MARKET

Do you know about three of the most important components of health and longevity?  Did you know that volunteering at the Worthington Farmers Market can help enhance all three of those components?  Consider:

  1. Eating Right:  This is the easy one!  All year round, even in the indoor market, there is a great variety of healthy foods available.  Several vendors can deliver great fruits, produce and other products deep into the winter, much of it is organic.

  2. Exercise:  Want to get your steps in for the day? Sign up to be a market floater, the token coordinator, or help with the late morning wrap up.  We'll keep you moving!

  3. Socializing:  Come hang out with one of the most fun volunteer crews anywhere!  We have an annual volunteer appreciation party and we often get together for other events.

If you haven't yet volunteered at the market, now is your chance!

Honeyrun Farms Holiday Open House

We're opening up our Honey House to shoppers! We're setting up a "pop up shop" in the honey house so you can browse all our items in person. Although you can still find our items in our roadside farmstand and pay using the honor system year round, our Holiday Open House is a one day event that will give you a chance to see many of the beeswax candles and gift boxes that are not always available in the farmstand. We accept cash, credit cards, and checks. We'll have free hot cider and cookies, and will be spinning Christmas records. All are welcome. Join us!
