PREVIEW DAY - Flourish Brioche Donuts
Flourish Brioche is a pop up bakery in Columbus specializing in brioche donuts. Inspired by traditional Italian bomboloni, the donuts are light, fluffy, and not overly sweet. They have a rotating weekly menu of fillings. Everything is small batch and made from scratch.
Stop by and say hello to Liz in Booth #62 on the Dewey’s Pizza Plaza (SE corner New England & High).
NEWS FROM OUR MARKET PARTNERS
Sip Sustainably, Worthington! Simple Times Mixers is our newest Sustainability Star at the Worthington Farmers Market
Bring back your used glass jars, and they’ll clean and reuse them—helping cut down waste and conserve resources. Local bars and retailers can also return gallon jugs for reuse, supporting the mission to reduce single-use glass.
Bonus: Citrus leftovers from production are shared with local distillers like Echo Spirits Distilling Co. to create even more delicious, sustainable products!
Let’s keep the #ReuseRevolution going and support Simple Times in their journey towards #zerowaste

Seasonal reminder: Don’t lose valuable nutrients for your lawn and garden!
Leave the Leaves! Trees spend all spring and summer pumping nutrients into their leaves. These nutrients happen to be valuable organic matter for your soil, promoting needed microorganisms and weed suppression for healthier grass and garden plants in the spring. Better than raking them to the curb:
• Mow them to pieces and allow them to decompose in place.
• Pile them in beds and gardens to build nutrient rich soil, and provide overwintering for GOOD insects.
• Add them to your compost along with grass clippings, keep damp and well mixed for your garden in the spring.
*NOTE: Curbside leaf and yard waste collections for The City of Worthington are composted and mulched through local business operations. Leaves in these programs do not go to the landfill but are turned into mulch and soil products for use and purchase.

Save the Date, and your Halloween Jack o’ Lanterns for the Plant your Pumpkin Project at @worthingtonfarmersmarket
Have a small jack-o-lantern left over from Halloween? Don’t throw it out—bring it to the Farmers Market on November 2nd and turn it into a pollinator garden.
Monarchs are arriving in Mexico just in time for the Day of the Dead and will stay there for the winter, but when summer returns to us, so will they! Be ready to welcome them with a little patch of milkweed and nectar plants. All you need to do is bring your used jack- o-lantern and the Worthington Green Team and @linworthcommunitygarden will supply the soil, seeds, and instructions. When you return home, you can simply dig a hole and bury your pumpkin in a sunny location. Next summer, the little garden will grow and attract butterflies and other pollinators. Wear your costume if you like and celebrate Halloween for just a little longer.
The Compost Exchange will also be there to take pumpkins for FREE. They will have their van next to us and will make sure your pumpkins get composted. Plus, if you sign up for curbside service that day, you’ll receive a kitchen bucket and two months free of curbside composting!
