We are excited to present the music of Horace Silver January 25th for the second concert in our series. Horace Silver was a pioneer of Hard Bop in the mid to late 1950s (a new current of the time within jazz that incorporated influences from Rhythm and Blues, Gospel Music and Blues) This concert will feature various compositions from Horace such as: Doodlin’, The Preacher, Song for My Father, Señor Blues, Tippin’ etc.
