Sugar Creek Bluegrass is an energetic young band from central Ohio made up of brothers and sisters who strive to preserve Bluegrass music for many generations. The band performs traditional bluegrass, old time, and gospel music inspired by legends like Bill Monroe and Ralph Stanley. Sugar Creek has shared the stage with some amazing bluegrass bands including Dailey & Vincent, Russell Moore, Rhonda Vincent, Joe Mullins, Flatt Lonesome, Mountain Faith and many others. The band can often be heard on bluegrass radio stations and they have performed live on both ABC and NBC in Columbus, Ohio. The band tours in many states and is honored to be selected as a top-10 youth band to showcase at IBMA in Raleigh, North Carolina in September 2016. Sugar Creek has recorded three bluegrass albums and they are currently working on their first gospel album to be released in 2017. The band members include Emily on banjo, Cody on fiddle, Molly on bass, Matt on guitar, Ben on mandolin, and Abbey on washboard. While working hard to play their best, it is their sincere desire to honor and please God with their music. After all, music is a blessing and a gift from the Lord!
