Architecture, History and the Vignette: A Bill Arter Exposition
 

Sunday April 8th, 2 – 5 pm


Visit the Orange Johnson House’s Spring Opening open April 8th and 15th from 2 – 5 pm and take a tour of 1960s Worthington artist Bill Arter’s work. View illustrations from his “Vignettes” and read the histories of Columbus-area buildings (both historic and modern), originally published in the Columbus Dispatch’s Sunday edition from 1964 – 1970. A selection of buildings from Worthington, Columbus and Ohio State University will be featured.  While touring the exhibit throughout the Orange Johnson House, Worthington Historical Society docents will be on hand to share information about the early Worthington family home.

 

The exhibit has been put together in collaboration with intern Justin Rogers, a Thomas Worthington graduate and Ohio State University student, and the Worthington Historical Society.
