All Daughters’ Luncheon Worthington’s Historic Women Wednesday, May 9th, 12:30 – 2:30 pm Registration through The Griswold Center It has been said that well-behaved women rarely make history… but is that really true? In this program, we will celebrate Worthington women throughout history who led extraordinary lives. From a wife who followed her husband to the wilderness in 1803 to raise their family and settle a new community, to a woman educated in Worthington who went on to be a philanthropist in her own right in Columbus, to women who had careers as educators and nurses, the Worthington Historical Society will bring light to the stories of just a handful of the many “well-behaved” but accomplished women of the community
