The MAC’s own Palmer Moore of The Ohio Fingerstyle Guitar Club had this to say about Rafferty’s playing:

“Adam Rafferty is one of those rare performers who can not only play “stand up” multi-part solo guitar – he can be extremely entertaining, as well. Rafferty combines pristine guitar work with simultaneous walking bass lines, chords, and melody along with percussive moves on the guitar and vocally. Oh, and he dances while playing… All without a backup band, backing tracks, or loop stations. The man is simply an amazing “one man band” – very reminiscent of his musical hero Tommy Emmanuel.”

Adam has released two more albums since his last appearance at the MAC, and nine albums total in his career. His latest, “Play Pretty for the People,” came out just a few months ago in 2016.
