The Worthington Farmers Market Moves Back Indoors November 7
Scenes from the walk-through market this summer
This spring and summer have been an exciting? interesting? an eventful one for the Worthington Farmers Market. When COVID-19 restrictions were first applied in March, it transitioned from the indoor market at the mall first to a drive-through market at the Community Center, then to a walk-through layout in two different spots on West Wilson Bridge Road during the summer (and thank you to Paradigm Properties and Worthington Industries for hosting!).
The Market organizers, vendors, and volunteers are grateful for all the customers who have visited regularly, been kind and courteous, worked hard to keep their community safe, and above all, supported local farmers and purveyors throughout so many ongoing changes, adaptations, and challenges.
Now, thanks to DRK and Company and The Shops at Worthington Place, Worthington’s favorite Saturday morning tradition will return to the indoor market!
The Market’s winter hours begin this Saturday, November 7, from 9 a.m. to noon and will continue every Saturday (except for Nov. 28 and Dec. 26) into the spring. The first hour, 9-10 a.m., is still reserved for high-risk populations.
Important details to note:
Masks are required to enter the market
Please enter and exit from one of the two designated points: the south doors between Panera and Talbots, or the east doors between First Watch and Orvis. See the market map here or below.
Entrance will be limited in order to maintain proper social distancing protocols
The market layout is again organized by Produce; Baked Goods; Meat, Eggs and Dairy; and Specialty Items
Guests are still encouraged to pre-order items from market vendors. View a full directory of market vendors here.
We’re excited to see you at the market! Keep up with more market updates at worthingtonfarmersmarket.com, or on Facebook and @worthingtonfarmersmarket on Instagram.
