Spring has finally arrived! It's time to gather your girlfriends and celebrate the season at Ladies Night Out in Olde Worthington this Friday, April 12. The event is sponsored by Peacock Lane Home, a home furnishings and gift shop located at 615 High Street, and will include refreshments, more than $500 in door prizes, and a design trends seminar. Peacock Lane Home is introducing its new interior design studio, which offers complete residential design and remodeling services, including everything from flooring, furniture and window treatments to granite, hard surfaces and tile. Other local artists and vendors will be on site, including clothing and jewelry from Mode Alise, which is a clothing store located in the Shops at Worthington Place, as well as a local children's clothing vendor. Two half-hour-long design trends seminars--one at 6 p.m. and another 7 p.m.--will address topics like color trends and patterns.

Several other Olde Worthington shops promise to stay open that evening, such as Fritzy Jacobs and Wren House Gifts, and visitors can plan to dine at one of the area's many restaurants. House Wine is joining the festivities by offering a $5 wine pour to anyone who makes a purchase at one of the shops.

Everyone who visits Peacock Lane Home that evening will receive a "loot" bag with coupons and other items from area vendors. So plan now to shop, socialize and dine this Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. in Olde Worthington.
