It's Time for Plant Fest!
The days are getting much longer; the sun is stronger; and trees and shrubs are in full bloom. This can only mean that the growing season has returned to Central Ohio. To celebrate this time of the year and to help with your spring planting needs, Plant Fest is returning with approximately 70 local plant, flower and craft vendors. Scheduled for May 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Plant Fest will also feature several vendors from the Worthington Farmers Market, a local folk music group, and food concessions (Dan's Deli, cinnamon toasted almonds, and lemon shake-ups).
Plant Fest is a great time to purchase everything from perennials, annuals and hanging baskets to herbs, vegetables, candles, garden art, jewelry and more.
Food and music combine to make it a festive event for the entire family. This year Plant Fest will be held simultaneously with the second week of the outdoor farmers market, and it's also the day before Mother's Day. So plan to make it your one-stop shop for Mom.
