The event, which will take place on December 1 from 12 to 5:30 p.m., features horse-drawn carriage rides, live musical entertainment, refreshments, holiday shopping, photos with Santa, and of course, the annual tree lighting. Here's a schedule of the day's activities:

Guests will stroll the beautiful candle-lit streets, enjoying horse-drawn carriage rides, wine and cheese, live music, special sales and extended hours at all their favorite stores.

Giving Back

Like so many others, the OWBA and the Worthington Parks and Recreation Department recognize the need to give back to those less fortunate. For this reason, they will be collecting food and monetary donations for the Worthington Food Pantry during both of these popular events. Holiday Open House visitors may bring their donations to the truck in front of the Worthington Inn from 12 to 5 p.m. and to the tree lighting ceremony from 5 to 6 p.m. During the Illuminating Shopping event, visitors may drop their donations in a designated box located near the carriage ride departure point at the northeast corner of New England and High Streets.
