Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Worthington

Looking to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day around Worthington? Don your greenest green and head out to these local establishments for food and drink specials, music, dance, and other events.

Live Music at Blarney Stone Tavern
On St. Patrick’s Day, the Blarney Stone Tavern will host live music all day long. Kick back with a pint of Guinness and Irish nachos, fish and chips, or the shamrock wrap. Olde Brigade will perform at 11 a.m., acoustic rocker Chris Logsdon plays at 4 p.m., and Jon Anthony takes the stage at 8 p.m. 

Beer Specials and Irish Dancing at Zaftig Brewing Co.
Zaftig gets a jump on the St. Paddy’s Day celebrations with drink specials and events on Saturday, March 14. That day they’ll be tapping an Irish red ale, their Irish Crème A-Crop Blacklight Stout, and their Green Mini Bomb Blonde ale. They’ll also host dancers from the Academy Irish Dance Company. FoxFire Tacos will be on hand in the evening.

At 8 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day, Natalie’s Coal Fired Pizza welcomes The Kells, one of the region’s premiere Irish bands. Using traditional instruments, this five-piece band brings an energetic show of classic and modern Irish tunes. Get your tickets here!

Beer and Food Specials at The Half Pint
Starting this weekend, The Half Pint will run a variety of food and drink specials. From Friday through Tuesday, they’re offering $5 pints of Guinness, Buckeye Lake Irish red ale, Thirsty Dog Irish Setter red ale, and Dalton Union’s kiwi cider (which is naturally green!). They’re also serving $3 shots of Tullamore Dew Scotch (they’re only $2 if purchased with your beer!).

And starting on Monday, March 16, they’re serving up specials like a bacon and white cheddar corned beef sandwich with Guinness-braised onions and a fried egg on a pretzel bun. They’re also dishing out reuben egg rolls with Russian dressing dipping sauce, plus Andes mint chocolate cake.

All month long, Graeter’s is whipping up sundaes made with their mint cookies and cream ice cream, homemade whipped cream, bittersweet, and a cherry on top.
