Hot Dog! Dirty Frank’s Sets Up a Carryout/Delivery Location in Worthington
Dirty Frank’s Hot Dog Palace, the long-time hot dog joint in downtown Columbus, has officially set up a new Worthington location with carryout and delivery service!
A quick introduction for those unfamiliar with Dirty Frank’s: the hot dog shop first opened in downtown Columbus in 2009, quickly becoming known for their fun hot dogs and sides, easy-to-love drink menu, and cartoonish décor from local artist Thom Lessner. It’s become a staple of the bustling stretch of South Fourth Street in downtown Columbus because of its inexpensive menu, full bar, and late-night hours.
Since that time, their hot dog empire has grown to include a food truck; a location at Hollywood Casino; kiosks at Lower.com Field, Huntington Park, and Ohio Stadium; forthcoming shops to campus and Old North; and… a Worthington storefront!
Dirty Frank’s Worthington is only open for carryout and delivery by ordering through DoorDash, Wednesdays-Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
While the menu is slightly trimmed down at the Worthington location, guests can still order most of Dirty Frank’s signature dogs and sides. You can go with classics like a Chicago dog, chili dog, sauerkraut dog, even corn dogs. But they really shine with creative takes like the Cowgirl Carmen (coney sauce, cheddar, crushed Fritos), the Classy Lady (cheese sauce and crushed potato chips), Picnic Table (baked beans, cole slaw, relish, crushed chips), or Puff the Magic Popper (jalapenos, cheddar cream cheese, bacon bits).
They also feature sides like tater tots (loaded and plain), mac and cheese, pretzel bites, mac and cheese bites. Dirty Frank’s menu is easily adapted to vegetarian and vegan tastes, too.
For an easy order, try the Weiner Box: two hot dogs of your choice plus tater tots. Proceeds from the sale of each box supports local non-profits who benefit marginalized neighbors in need.
In addition to ordering online, guests can visit the storefront and order in-person!
